Command troops from the 1917 era and 1944 era
When you play Warfare Online, you are limited to troops and vehicles from the 1917 and 1944 era, and many of the characters you may command have their own nuances, pros, cons, abilities and vulnerabilities. The game has a mix of units and vehicles from those eras in the past, even if the game doesn?t explicitly say so when you pick your platoon. You will be impressed with the combat realism at first, but the gameplay is a little shallow to the point where many opponents may be defeated by spamming troops and piling them onto your enemy. People who want play with strategies are easily overwhelmed by selecting a group and running them into your enemy?s territory. The fact that units move themselves to cover is not a new concept, but it is very welcome, and the soundscape is very immersive.
Similar to the older version of the game
Warfare Online was created by the developers who made Warfare 1917 and 1944, which is why you may play with units and vehicles from both eras, but you will have to unlock them all before you may enjoy them. The game is similar enough to its previous versions to satisfy fans of the game, while being updated enough to satisfy people who were spoilt by games such as Company of Heroes. Your gameplay experience is dictated by the quality of the people you fight against, which does mean there is a fair amount of replay value if you decide to invest time and effort into playing the game.
